OBSCURA announce new album Diluvium and share title-track music video

Germany’s progressive death metal masters OBSCURA complete their long-running, four-album conceptual circle with the release of Diluvium (defined as a great oceanic flood), their most evocative, diverse and vibrant release to date. Diluvium is due out July 13th via Relapse Records.

Recorded with longtime producer V. Santura (Triptykon, Pestilence) at Woodshed Studios in Landshut, Germany, Diluvium is a stunning achievement for the illustrious quartet and a landmark release for progressive metal as a whole. Complete with all the band’s signature elements plus groundbreaking polyrhythms, dramatic songwriting, and jaw-dropping virtuosity, OBSCURA raise the bar once again with an album that will go down in the annals of metal history as one of the most astonishing performances the genre has to offer.

Brazil’s FUNERATUS Posts New Music Video “Accept The Death”

One of Brazil’s most respected death metal bands FUNERATUS have posted a new music video “Accept The Death”, the title track off their latest album released earlier this year.

Following the band’s 2009 EP “Vision From Hell”, their new album “Accept The Death” presents FUNERATUS at its very best, having the most cohesive, mature and captivating compositions to date. It’s authentic and brutal style has made the band one of the most admired extreme music names to follow in the country.

“Accept The Death” was recorded at Sete Studio and Joca Miquinioti Studio. The band managed the production themselves along with mixing and mastering handled by veteran German producer Andy Classen (Asphyx, Tankard, Krisiun, Belphegor, Destruction, Rotting Christ). The album artwork was created by Brazilian artist Alcides Burn (Krisiun, Nervochaos, Blood Red Throne, Rebaelliun, HeadHunter DC).

A new lyric video “Ignis Fatuus” from LELAHELL

LELAHELL just released a new lyric video entitled “Ignis Fatuus” taken from the upcoming album that will release via Metal Age Productions on June 15th. “Ignis Fatuus” is the first single from the great new album Alif which features a phenomenal German drummer Hannes Grossmann (ex Necrophagist, ex Obscura, Alkaloid, Blotted Science, Hate Eternal), one of the most admired players in the world of technical death metal. Ignis Fatuus is like a firestorm crossing the desert valley you can only enjoy!
