TORTURE SQUAD releases new video for the “Don’t Cross My Path”

Torture Squad released their latest video for the “Don’t Cross My Path” track . The chosen track is the one that opens their new album “Far Beyond Existence” and is the first of many that will be released during the promotion of the album. You can check it out below:

“The video was recorded during the release of the album on the 24th February on the Fabrique Club, in São Paulo, during the Esquadrão de Zumbis Tour that we did with Zumbis do Espaço, that travelled across twelve cities of the State. When we came back to the capital, this show was a great celebration with the fans and friends of Torture Squad, and we liked the result. The video shows the band bring great energy on stage and that was the result”, coments drummer Amilcar Christófaro.

Recording and production was made by director, editora and camera man Heitor Shewchenko, cameras Camila Dourado, Alexandre Galvão and Fabio Almeida and light man Leandro Barros.

SKAMBANKT RELEASES NEW SINGLE & MUSIC VIDEO

The Norwegian hard-rockers Skambankt are out with their new single and music video “I Dette Huset” today! “I Dette Huset” is the opener of their latest, critically acclaimed album “Horisonten Brenner”. The song radiates high-energy, rebellion and a true rock-atmosphere. With its catchy melodies, Winterstø’s sonorous vocals contrasting heavy guitar riffs and drumming, this song presents an addictive hard rock ride, and it is one of the album’s highlights. The track has been followed by a video, and Skambankt’s vocalist, Terje Winterstø Røthing, has shared his impressions: “We have never felt so small as we did when we saw this video. We couldn’t understand a thing. It was amazing!”
The director of the video, Knut Robberstad, has added:  “Since the fist listening, I have felt that ‘I Dette Huset’ is a kind of a legitimate attack on the golden facades we are hiding behind. To me, this song is about fake representations of ourselves when we are with others – both at home, work, or smartphones – and that we should be allowed to just be ourselves to a greater degree. That’s why I got really excited when we at Moxey got the chance to make a video for this particular song.”

KAMIKAZE ZOMBIE Releases Official Video for “The Story of Jane Doe”

Birmingham, Alabama’s KAMIKAZE ZOMBIE has released the official video for “The Story of Jane Doe,” a track from their latest album Night of the Nuberus. The video was directed, shot, and edited by Ben and Nadia Robertson of 1931 Productions. You can get your fix below:

That ominous rumbling you heard was not a deception perpetrated by your ears, but rather a warning of a nefarious force emerging from the streets of Birmingham, Alabama. That force is KAMIKAZE ZOMBIE and Night of the Nuberus is now upon us. Released in September 2017, the time has arrive for the rest of the world to heed the warning and prepare for an old school crossover attack that combines black metal melodies, doom/sludge/death metal breakdowns, and in-your-face punk/thrash aggression with lyrical content inspired by horror films. And let’s not forget about the serial-killer themed stage shows!
Stream Night of the Nuberus in its entirety:
The music of Night of the Nuberus was written by Clint Spain and Steve Cater, the former also penning the lyrics. The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Matthew Washburn (Mastodon) at LedBelly Sound Studio. Artwork and layout come courtesy of Shawn Knight.
Vocalist/Guitarist Clint Spain had this to say about the band’s macabre creation:
“Night of the Nuberus is our first major release. We went for a horror movie vibe in writing and recording the album, like a love letter to old slasher movies and horror punk bands. But my love for the New Orleans scene, black metal and the Melvins definitely bleeds through.”
