Depths Above releases debut album

The first release of the band Depths Above from Czech Republic will come out at the end of September 2018 totalling 32 minutes and containing 4 songs. Through these the band is introduced to its gloomy vision of metal underground in which genres like black, death and doom metal mix in various dosages and moods. The album artwork’s visuals were created using the paintings of Vama Marga who is also the band’s lead guitarist and singer. It will come out as a two panel digipak with a booklet in limited print of 266 pieces. Preview is available for listening on Bandcamp, the song is called The Descent.

Depths Above was formed in 2015 in Brno (Czech Republic) with a line-up of musicians who are or were the members of bands Bhagavat (ITA), Desert Witch (SVK) and Inferno (CZE). In October 2017 the band released one-song demo through their bandcamp page followed by a couple of shows. Now they are releasing their debut album.
