Mike comments: “When we decided to do an entire 2nd set of cover songs with an orchestra and choir, we knew we HAD to take advantage of the opportunity to do at least one Sons Of Apollo song with the additional musicians in the set as well. Labyrinth was the perfect song to do with this musical embellishment as it’s a pretty epic piece with little bit of everything that makes SOA who we are.”
Pre-orders for all formats are now available here: https://soa.lnk.to/
Mike Portnoy comments: “I’ve released several dozen live albums through the years with about a dozen different bands, but I have to say that this live release from Sons Of Apollo may indeed be the most special one of them all!! Everything was aligned that evening: an absolutely beautiful Roman amphitheatre and a perfectly gorgeous summer evening, one set of SOA material and one set of specially chosen cover songs, and to top it all off being joined by a symphony orchestra and choir…it was a magical evening for everybody in attendance and now we can share it with the rest of the world immortalized in this incredible live package.
This package will serve as a nice souvenir to capture the band’s first year on tour and should tide over all of our fans while we complete work on our sophomore studio release that will coming in Jan 2020″
RISING INSANE present new single and announce album "Porcelain"
RISING INSANE have released the first single “Porcelain” from the upcoming album of the same title. The song marks the start of the co-operation with Long Branch Records and is now available on all digital platforms. The music video is now live below:
The new album “Porcelain” is now available for pre-order as exclusive bundles, CD in jewel case and as download.
Rising Insane delivers their music in a dualistic manner, apart from the common post-hardcore norm; rageful outbreaks chained to a melancholic surrender are giving their songs a unique emotive touch. The sudden and surprising variety is the key to a new experience that will shackle the listener to their music.
Rising Insane is and has alway been own initiative, investing both heart and soul in the music and everything else that has to deal with being a band. Releasing their debut album “Nation” in June 2017, they definitely paved a way to move on to higher ground. Solid mixtures of crushing metalcore elements with a punk-rock-like influence are getting along with rest-in-your-head clean vocals.
Since the release, Rising Insane captivates over and over again, playing alongside bands like The Devil wears Prada, For Today and Stray from the Path. The long journey has further inspired the band, which leads to a more self revealing kind of music. With this passion, Rising Insane joined the Band Annisokay at the end of 2018 to a 14 city tour through Germany and Austria, also joined the stage at the Impericon Festival 2019.
Strengthened by the energy of this ride, they produced and recorded their second album, “Porcelain”, set for a November 2019 release. Still it is all self initiative – and with it comes the most honest, inspiring and haunting music, Rising Insane has ever done.
HAMELIN: Belgian post metal alchemists release official video for "Nadir"
The newest addition to the ever-evolving Wolves of Hades roster, Belgium natives HAMELIN are thrilled to announce their debut EP for the label.
Watch the official video of the band’s new single, “Nadir” below:
Buried deep in the consciousness of four divergent souls from Mechelen grew a beast enchained by melancholy named HAMELIN. Though they are in the process of releasing their first EP, they are in no way new to the scene. With all of them having a background in Belgium’s metal scene and coming from different bands and projects, you might just find yourself impressed by their unique sound and dynamic.
The combined musical backgrounds of their members fell effortlessly into place, pushing a sound that is characterised by a strong atmosphere and melody drifting between melancholy and hope, longing for light as we drift further into the void.
HAMELIN’s debut EP will be ready to be unleashed worldwide on 30th November 2019 through Wolves of Hades.
With haunting and calm riffs, cathartic vocals, pounding and yet serene drums and a dynamic composition HAMELIN’s debut EP will drag the listener through a sorrowful journey into a maelstrom of blackened and atmospheric metal.
Jason Bond – Guitar
Casper De Decker – Vocals, Keys
