WOM Features – Crucivore Unleashes Debut Single “Triumph Of The Grotesque Disorder” – Exclusive
Crucivore is a new force to be reckoned in the Brutal Death Metal scene. Hailing from Portugal since late 2024, and featuring current and former members of projects such as Analepsy, Kraanium (live), Downfall of Mankind, Lvnae Lvmen, Shoryuken, Deeds of Sanity, Legacy of Cinthia, Vella, Insvla (live), Haunted Minds, ATA, Burned Blood among others. “Triumph Of The Grotesque Disorder” is their first single, and it’s the perfect example of all their destructive power and excellence in death metal fashion.
According to the band “Triumph Of The Grotesque Disorder” “explores the collapse of social order in a world consumed by violence, corruption and fear. Through vivid lyrical imagery of crime-ridden streets, institutional failure and growing chaos, the song paints a disturbing portrait of modern society’s descent into disorder. The track’s brutal delivery mirrors its subject matter, creating an atmosphere that is both oppressive and intensely confrontational.”
The video is premiered on Slam Worldwide YouTube channel, and you can check it out below in a World Of Metal Exclusive.
Crucivore was born as a joint venture between guitarist Sérgio Páscoa and vocalist Ricardo Proença, with the sole purpose of channeling the honest aggression and feel that got them both into death metal. After joining the ranks with Tomás Carvalho as a drummer, Ricardo Jorge as guitarist, the line-up was completed with Caesar Craveiro, who replaced founding member Cláudio, who remains very much involved with the band’s duties, now in the management and organizational side,
With their live debut happening in July of 2025, Crucivore have been growing their presence on the Portuguese live scene, leaving a trailblazing number of acclaimed shows behind. They continue their ascending path, building momentum and spreading the Brutal Death word through neck-breaking live performances, with a busy schedule moving forward. Besides that, they’re also working on their debut full-length album, which is scheduled for release later this very same year.
