Chris Cornell dies aged 52
Chris Cornell, the eternal frontman for Soundgarden who also achieved success on his own and with Audioslave, has died aged 52. His represenative Brian Bumbery issued a statement to the Associeated Press where informs that Cornell died on Wednesday night in Detroit. He said that the death was “sudden and unexpected” and that his wife and family were shocked. The statement also said that the family would be working closely with the medical examiner to determine the causes of death and asked for privacy in this hour of grief.
Meanwhile it was revealed that Chris Cornell committed suicide by hanging. There are no final results of the autopsy.
