VORBID RELEASES NEW LYRIC VIDEO FOR “ZOMBIE”

The progressive thrash foursome Vorbid are out with their new lyric video for the track ‘Zombie’, taken off their upcoming album titled ‘Mind’, due April 13. ‘Zombie’ presents a stunning drive through heavy riffs combined with daring guitar solos, perfectly blended with penetrating vocals and rock-solid drums. Vorbid is a progressive thrash metal band from southern city of Norway, Arendal, consisting of Michael Eriksen Briggs, Daniel Emanuelsen, Marcus Gullovsen and Jonas Tellefsen. The band was formed in October 2013 and has since it’s inception developed quite a unique style of thrash metal. They mix the riffs and the intensity of thrash with the technique and the melodies from prog rock. Debut album titled ‘Mind’ is coming on April 13!

This new single presents an undeniably renewed TRAGUL, which returns with an easily remembered melodic music, with a rhythm halfway between the modern sound and the traditional power metal that leads to a fresh and melodic metal at its best. “Before I say Goodbye” starts with a bass introduction accompanied by a bright sound on the keyboards. The calm vocal passage with guitars in “clean” and subtle arrangements of orchestration, preside over an unexpected and powerful chorus sung in Spanish, succeeded by a virtuoso guitar solo.

With catchy vocal melodies, smooth strings arrangements and a powerful metal background, this new song will provide a pleasant sensation that will transport the listener to the deep longing of spiritual transcendence.
